Define product, territory, channel, and written terms before discussing exclusivity.

Exclusive Sales Discussions
Exclusivity is a commercial arrangement that should be considered only after the product, territory, channel, and buyer responsibilities are clear. CANTOP does not grant automatic exclusivity through a website inquiry. A serious discussion needs a defined product scope and written terms that both parties can review.
Points to define together
- The exact models, configurations, brand presentation, and accessories covered.
- The country, region, customer segment, and online or offline channels involved.
- Launch plans, sales support needs, forecast assumptions, and performance milestones.
- Use of product images, brand assets, packaging artwork, and approved marketing language.
- How product changes, documentation updates, and territory questions will be communicated.
Put commitments in writing
An exclusive-sales proposal should be evaluated against the actual product program and market plan, not against a generic promise. Quantities, timing, pricing, delivery, and any rights or obligations apply only when they are set out in a mutually accepted written agreement or order. Send Lucy your proposed territory, products, channels, and business plan at cantoplucy@hotmail.com or cantoplucy@gmail.com. This lets the discussion begin with facts that can be reviewed rather than assumptions.
